BURLINGTON CO-OPERATIVE TOY LIBRARY
This nonprofit cooperative drop in centre and toy lending library for children ages newborn to 5 years old is operated by a parent co-operative that is non-profit and non-sectarian. The main service to families is to provide stimulating toys of high quality and space for free play in an unstructured, safe and fun atmosphere. Concepts of sharing and respect are encouraged as well as offering a community meeting place for parents with mutual interest in their young children.
The Co-operative is open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the activity room on the lower level of St. Stephen United Church (user rear entrance) from September to June, and generally closed on school holidays and Professional Development Days.
