Sunday School

WORLD VISION PROJECT

Our Sunday School children are going to be making Candy
Bags for the Candy Cane Bazaar to help raise funds for a World Vision project.

The children are asking for donations of wrapped candy and we will put the bags together as well as staff a booth at the Candy Cane Kitchen (December 3rd).

We will use the proceeds to sending a needy family or village a gift of live stock or classroom supplies.  Ask us about this.

We would love to tell you more!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Each Sunday, the children of St. Stephen come together and sing songs of praise accompanied by the talented Dave Dalgleish on the piano.  during this time we sing some good old favorites and some new songs as well.  We share some of these songs with the congregation throughout the year during children's time.

On an average week, we can have anywhere from 2 to 10 children in attendance, although we have 24 registered for Sunday School.  With a group of dedicated Sunday School teachers, the children are split into a younger and an older group and spend time on a bible story and usually a craft of activity to help reinforce the story and the learnings.

Stay tuned for the program for Sunday School set to begin just after Children's time in the main service starting after Labour Day.  We are excited about the new material Rev Allison has selected with the Sunday School Teachers.
