Wesley Urban Ministries offers a variety of family and children's programs to support the healthy growth and development of children and youth. They also offer Counselors at Wesley's Multicultural Seniors Outreach Program, which assists low income senior with services that meet a wide range of needs, enabling them to live independent and financially stable lives.

St. Stephen has supported the efforts of Wesley Centre in various capacities.
The congregation was extremely generous in contributing coins for our collection bottle in the "Coins for Caring" campaign. Also the Lenten collection was donated to "Citykidz" to support their vital work with at risk children in Hamilton.
April Contact Network Meeting
The Spring Contact Network meeting was Saturday April 30th. Daljit Garry, the new Executive Director visits the program sites and joined for lunch. The meeting was held as usual starting at 9:30 am in the Wesley Centre Chapel.
Case for Kids
Our congregation formed a team, who was generously sponsered in the "Case for Kids Walk, Run, Ride" which was held on Sunday June 5th, 2011 at Bayfront Park in Hamilton. This year was the 20th Anniversary of Case for Kids. This event has raised over $1 million for Wesley's programs for children, youth and families living in poverty.
Halloween Dinner
St. Stephen served 160 people at Wesley Centres on October 31st. As always there were many compliments on the quality of our homemade meatloaves and cupcakes. Many members of our congregation baked, shopped and served and everyone looks forward to this annual tradition where our community can reach out and provide dinner to those less fortunate then ourselves.
Wesley Christmas Store
Each year we seem to outdo our donations to the Christmas Store which includes gifts, cash donation, mittens and hats and 250 bags of candy for guests at their Christmas dinner. Last year it took three trips to transport all the donations!
